Product Applications
- Consumer Hardware & Sports Gear: Premium non-slip matte handles for premium camera tripods, bicycle handlebars, trekking poles, and marine paddle shafts.
- Architectural Interior Profiles: High-end decorative columns, linear lighting tubes, exhibition display frame poles, and sleek furniture legs requiring a modern anti-glare finish.
- Industrial Pre-treatment Preparation: Creating a uniformly roughened anchoring surface on aluminum pipes to drastically improve the adhesion coating durability of industrial paints or adhesives.
- Automotive & Aerospace Tubing: Light-absorbing structural tubes and fluid transfer conduits utilized inside vehicles where surface reflections must be minimized.
Product FAQ
Q1: What are the main benefits of round pipe sandblasting before the anodizing process?
A1: Sandblasting acts as an excellent mechanical pre-treatment. It seamlessly hides typical extrusion die lines and minor surface scratches inherent in aluminum manufacturing. When followed by anodizing, it produces a premium, frosted matte finish that resists fingerprints and diffuses light beautifully.
Q2: Can you guarantee color and texture consistency across different batches of blasted pipes?
A2: Yes. We use automated multi-nozzle pass-through sandblasting machinery that controls blasting pressure, pipe rotation speed, and abrasive media flow at constant rates. This strict automation ensures the surface roughness (Ra) remains completely uniform from end to end and batch to batch.
Q3: How do you protect the interior walls of the tubes from abrasive media during sandblasting?
A3: By default, sandblasting alters the outer exposed surfaces. If your technical application requires the inner diameter (ID) to remain pristine or free of dust, we utilize custom masking plugs to completely seal both pipe ends during processing. Following production, all pipes go through an air-evacuation wash to remove any micro-dust residues.
Q4: Can we match the sandblasted finish to a custom sample provided by our engineering team?
A4: Absolutely. You can mail us your physical benchmark sample. Our technical laboratory will analyze the surface roughness profile and test-calibrate different abrasive mesh sizes (such as #120 or #150 glass beads) to create an exact prototype match for your approval before mass production.
