A1: Extruding ultra-thin micro fins requires high-precision tooling control. Depending on the complete profile geometry and fin height, we can reliably extrude fine fin structures with thicknesses down to approximately 0.8mm to 1.0mm to maximize cooling capabilities in compact envelopes.
Q2: Does black anodizing significantly improve the performance of a miniature passive heat sink?
A2: Yes, absolutely. For small radiators operating without forced fan ventilation (passive cooling), thermal radiation accounts for a large percentage of overall heat transfer. Black anodizing significantly raises the surface emissivity, allowing the tiny radiator to radiate heat far more efficiently into stagnant air spaces.
